Meet Picasso, a picture perfect 9-year-old paint gelding who is sure to paint your life with color! Picasso is the ideal family horse with a calm, friendly nature that makes him a pleasure to handle and ride. He is well versed in a variety of settings: trails, traffic, parades, 4H shows, and camping trips. Having spent countless hours on the trails, Picasso is a seasoned pro. He's traveled to more than his fair share of state parks and down local trail heads. Whether you're meandering through backwood paths, crossing streams, or navigating open fields, he handles every situation with ease. He's been a reliable companion on overnight camping trips, confidently navigating rocky terrain, and quietly tackles even the most hectic traffic commotion. Picasso has been used as a part of the mounted sheriff’s posse and was even on the search & rescue team. However, his experience extends beyond the trails. He has proudly participated in numerous parades, making him accustomed to crowds, loud noises, and unexpected distractions. Sirens, Marching bands, cattle - you name it. Safety is paramount, especially when it comes to young or inexperienced riders. He is great with flags, tarps, ATV's and farm equipment. One of my favorite things about Picasso is that you can stand on the fence or a mounting block, snap your fingers and he will side pass on over for you to hop on with ease. Picasso's trustworthy nature and easy going demeanor ensure he is a safe mount for kids and novice riders. His sure-footedness and reliability make him a trusted trail partner, while his training and experience in various settings showcase his adaptability. You can unload and ride him anywhere and everywhere! Whether it's a leisurely trail ride, cruising through the drive through, entering a trail course class, a parade, or simply spending quality time grooming and bonding, Picasso excels in all aspects. Picasso is super gentle on the ground and fantastic around kids, making him a wonderful choice for families. He is very friendly and gets along great with other horses or other livestock/dogs. He stands quiet to be groomed, bathed, saddled, mounted/dismounted, etc. Loads and hauls great! Picasso stands 14.2 hands, is sound & healthy, and up to date on all care (records available upon request).  With his eye-catching coat and well-defined markings, Picasso is a true work of art. He has been well-maintained and he reflects the care and love he has received over the years. You'll be proud to have him, turning heads wherever you go! I've never received more compliments on a horse than I have with Picasso.
